First Special Meeting of the 15th Melaka State Assembly December 27-30
MELAKA: The first (special) meeting of the 15th Melaka State Assembly will be held over four days from December 27-30.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali said the state assembly will only sit from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the four days, in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and other regulations established by the National Security Council. (NSC) and the Ministry of Health (Ministry of Health).
“The meeting is a special meeting to be held after the formation of the new state government following the conclusion of the 15th national elections on November 20.
“Among the agenda of the meeting is the filing of the 2022 state budget, the appointment of the president and the vice-president, as well as the swearing in of the members of the state assembly”, he said Friday, December 10 in a press release.
In another development, Sulaiman said the state executive council at its December 8 meeting decided that all state executive councilors should prepare a framework goal (SKK) for their own portfolio, as is the annual work target (SKT) for civil servants. .
He said the SKK, however, must heed the commitments contained in Barisan Nasional’s manifesto for state election.
“The SKK must also be done for the first 100 days, one year, two years, three years, four years and five years, apart from new plans to be implemented according to their portfolios,” he said. .
At the same time, Sulaiman said the state government will introduce key performance indicators (KPIs) and a scorecard system to assess the performance of advisers.
He said they would be required to file their SKK, KPI, and report cards the first week of every month.
“The state government has also set up a special committee, the Manifesto Monitoring Committee, to monitor the implementation of the manifesto’s commitments among the advisers,” he added. – Bernama
