Sri Lanka’s largest and largest cement manufacturer is fueling the continued recovery of the local construction industry with a portfolio of value-added services, delivering performance-based design solutions, technical capabilities and expertise from industry to contractors and construction companies, enabling industry stakeholders to accelerate projects and respond to construction schedules impacted by the pandemic.
âOur foresight has allowed us to focus on developing highly innovative and sustainable construction solutions that create value for stakeholders who invest in our portfolio of cement and concrete solutions,â commented Dr. Moussa Baalbaki, Head of portfolio of products and solutions at INSEE Cement. âNow, as we recover as an industry, we need to focus on existing capabilities and capabilities that can accelerate the recovery process. INSEE Ciment is pleased to invite our industry players to leverage our expertise and collaborate to gain the momentum and confidence that our industry lost during the pandemic. “
A fervent defender of open collaboration and knowledge sharing, Insee Ciment has set up the INSEE i2i Innovation to Industry collaboration space as a dedicated cutting-edge center to engage industry stakeholders in a collaboration driven by open-mindedness, speed and connectivity. The center focuses on the creation of shared value and the collaborative development of innovative and efficient sustainable building solutions for Sri Lanka.
Located in Peliyagoda, the i2i collaboration space is a knowledge exchange center and an incubator of ideas for engineers, researchers, innovators, architects, construction companies, contractors and also competitors who seek to collaborate on transformative construction solutions for the industry. Equipped with more than 50 test and measurement tools, including 15 new tests in the construction industry in Sri Lanka, the INSEE i2i collaborative space enables contractors, builders and construction companies to meet strict economic, structural and performance criteria for construction projects.
When it comes to optimizing concrete mixes, Insee i2i offers complete solutions using simulations, advanced technologies, test equipment and expertise to evaluate many parameters for concrete mix designs. The Space offers pre-project mix design assessments during the planning stages, consulting with site engineers, architects and contractors to develop the mix design that will best meet their construction needs. INSEE’s team of expert i2i consultants also offers recommendations for improving current constructions, based on modeling, testing and evaluation of results, achieving the perfect balance between performance and cost optimization.
i2i from INSEE INSEE ConTemp ⢠thermal modeling simulation software creates thermal mock-ups of mass casting projects before mixing, benefiting contractors by enabling critical decision making that dramatically reduces construction budget and time. Contractors and construction companies are also offered customized workshops to address project-specific construction challenges, ranging from basic technical presentations to tailor-made trainings for the design of concrete mixes.
Stakeholders should also benefit from INSEE’s environmental investments and its commitment to reducing emissions levels and the industry’s collective carbon footprint. From acres of quarry rehabilitation and reforestation to the production of Sri Lanka’s first premium blended composite cement that is currently one of the most environmentally friendly cement products on the market, the green initiatives of the INSEE Cement guarantee entrepreneurs, builders and construction companies sustainable results of high performance. low carbon footprint structures.
Quick to recover from the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, INSEE Ciment quickly adapted to changes in logistics, distribution channels and supply chains, introducing more economically viable, ecological and lasting in the months following the epidemic. – judicious investments in research, innovation and product development. The consistency of the quality of our cement and concrete products remained a key area of ââintervention before and after the pandemic, with the company’s mandate to raise the standard of the entire construction industry. and the local ecosystem.
